During the final overview meeting of a session with our partner Lights!Camera!Access!, a young man commented that he felt inspired about the film industry, yet dissapointed that, as a quadraplegic, he would never really be given a chance to act.
He thought he might have been good at it, but was firmly convinced that in reality, this goal was a very faraway dream.
Well, we didn't agree. Quite strongly, in fact. So in the next 10 minutes a script was written and DMed to him and he was asked if he would like to star in the film. To my delight, he agreed.
So we asked others in the session if anyone would be willing to volunteer to be his scene partner, and 13 people said yes.
So I wrote more scripts...

Studio Workshop, where film and audio plays, fueled by enthusiasm, humor, and determination of individuals others may not be wise enough to engage with, are written, produced, and presented.
By combining a specific script architecture with online resources for collaboration and performance capture, individuals from everywhere collaborate and create, focusing on and celebrating their talent.
We have filmed with over 45 individuals in our first three sessions: we look very forward to adding more this year as our program continues to expand!
